Wright State University, home to The Adventure Summit, is located in Dayton, Ohio, approximately 70 miles west of the state capital, Columbus conveniently located off of I-675 at the N. Fairfield Rd. Exit.
The Student Union is directly across Col. Glenn Highway from the Frisch’s Big Boy.
How long will it take me to get there? Because I'm definitely coming...and I'm calling a friend to invite them!

Do I have to come for the whole day?
No, drop in when it is convenient. Warning: the more time you spend at the Adventure Summit the more you will be inspired to Get Out & Live!
Do I need to Register?
No, everything is first come, first serve.
Exceptions: Pre-registration will be available for the Bouldering Competition and Kayak Championship, call 937-775-5019 for more info.
Is there a map of the Student Union?
The entire event takes place in the Student Union. Follow directional signage after entering the main entrance of the Student Union.

What are Studio Programs?
Programs in Studios are fitness classes, and may cause you to sweat. They are designed to help build strength and endurance. For example; Yoga for Climbing, Cycle Fit, and more.
What should I wear to Studio Programs?
You are welcome to come in your street clothes, as long as you have appropriate athletic footwear. However, the WSU locker rooms are located across the hall from the Studios and Adventure Summit participants are encouraged to bring a change of clothes for these programs. So, if you are planning to attend one of these sessions you may want to plan ahead and bring a work out outfit.
Where are the Climbing Programs?
The new Wright State Climbing Wall built by Entre Prises will host all of the climbing programs; Bouldering Comp, Clinics, Open Climbing, located on the lower level of the Student Union. If you are planning to participate in a climbing workshop make sure to dress in loose, comfortable clothing. Rental Shoes are available for $1.
Can I join a kayak pool clinic?
Kayak clinics will be first come first serve. If you’d like to participate in a clinic make sure you come prepared with a bathing suit/synthetic shorts & top and towel. Locker rooms are available across from Studio C.

What are these party's all about on Friday and Saturday night?
This is just a chance to hang out with other outdoor enthusiasts in a casual atmosphere watching some hard core adventure videos while sipping some beverages with Sam Drevo, Jon Dorn, Andy Politz and others and in addition, Jonny Moseley will be on hand at Friday's party. You won't want to miss it, did I mention their will be some free appetizers and happy hour prices!
