Program Title:

A Walk From Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail

Description:

Brent hiked the 2651 mile Pacific Crest Trail in 2001 for his honeymoon with wife Amy.  The hiked covered 5 months as they trekked through California, Oregon & Washington from the Mojave Desert to the lush Sierra and Cascade Mountains.

Biography:

Brent has had the privilege to hike throughout the country from America's most famous long trail, the Appalachian to epic destinations like the bottom of the Grand Canyon and the craggy peaks of Glacier National Park.

He has covered thousands of miles including a honeymoon on the 2650 mile Pacific Crest Trail with wife Amy, as they spent 5 months walking across deserts, snowy peaks and through lush forests in California, Oregon, and Washington.

Brent has worked in the Outdoor Industry as an educator, sales rep. and program coordinator from California to New England as part of a love affair with travel and outdoor recreation. He says, "Find the time and make it happen!"

Brent and Amy settled back home in Miami Township in 2003 after two years touring the country as Backpacker Magazine's Get Out More! Road Team and completing a thru hike of Ohio's 1300 mile Buckeye Trail. Brent is the Manager of the Recreation Department of Five Rivers MetroPArks.
