Program Title:
The First Fifty Miles of the Appalachian Trail: Trying to Lighten the Load
Description:
After doing some short backpacking trips in the Rocky Mountains, we’ve turned our attention back East and have started section hiking the Appalachian Trail. We also used this trip to try out some lighter weight philosophies and equipment. So hopefully we will be able to show you some of the “evolution” of backpacking over the past several years.
