Program Title:

How To Make a Homemade Soda Can Cook Stove

Description:
Jerbear will show the step by step process of making a homemade, alcohol burning, soda can stove. Multiple models will be available for viewing and all tools used will be at hand. Participants should leave inspired to go home and make there own light weight, fool proof, inexpensive stove.

Biography:

Jerry is an avid backpacker. He took 5 years off work to see the US. He has hiked many trails, including long sections of the Appalachian Trail, Continental Divide Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and areas in Yosemite, the Wind River Range, and the Bearthooths, to name a few. He has touched in on 46 states and enjoyed many wilderness areas. He has made stoves for 6 years, they are lightweight and the fuel can be obtained very easy. He uses them on the trail. He has competed in two boil off competitions and won first place in both.
