Biography:

Andrew Bashaw is the North Country Trail Association’s Regional Trail Coordinator for Ohio and Pennsylvania.  Covering more than 1,300 miles just in these two states the North Country National Scenic Trail links two National Forests many State Wildlife Areas, Forests, and Parks and a multitude of private land ownership.  Andrew serves seven volunteer NCTA chapters and works closely with two great partners, the Buckeye Trail Association and the Baker Trail in Pennsylvania, to help move the hiking trail to off road scenic locations.  Andrew’s work includes volunteer recruitment, trail planning, trail construction and community engagement.  Andrew and his wife Claudia live in the post coal mining region of the Little Cities of Black Diamonds in Southeastern, OH.
